Shipping policy
SHIPPING
The price indicated for online items does not include shipping and/or delivery charges.
Any item delivered outside of Canada, involving additional costs or customs fees from shipments (local and international) are not the responsibility of Caritas arts.
Please contact your local post office if you are not aware of your country's customs fees, taxes and transit times.
Orders are subject to taxes in the country of delivery. Orders that pass through customs are subject to import customs duties, delivery country taxes, and customs administration fees. In such cases, a customs invoice will accompany your package or follow by mail. Recipients are required to pay these additional fees, duties and taxes. You will also receive an email when the canvas is ready to ship for additional charges due to international rates not included in the base price indicated during your purchase.
Shipping costs are set at a flat rate for local shipments within a 160 km radius of the physical address of the caritas arts store.
Additional charges will be added for any shipment beyond this radius.
Note that Caritas arts reserves the right to adjust shipping costs without notice. Where applicable, Caritas arts undertakes to respect the flat rate shipping costs displayed on the purchase order.
A receipt time of up to 21 working days is expected for postal and local shipments.
For local shipments, Caritas arts will contact the buyer within 72 business hours after purchase to schedule delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: local deliveries are only made via passable and motorable roads. The delivery address must be clearly indicated. If the carrier moves and the delivery address entered is not accessible, the delivery will return to the store. Delivery costs will be charged again if the customer requests a new delivery.
If certain instructions are necessary for delivery, you must notify us before arranging delivery. Indicate your specifications via the "add delivery instructions" option in the "Shipping method" section of the payment page or send them to us via the "Contact" menu. Additional charges may apply if important instructions for setting up delivery are not declared.
PLEASE NOTE: Caritas arts disclaims all liability linked to situations or causes beyond its control which could lead to the delivery time indicated (21 working days) being exceeded, such as: strike, pandemic, customs delays, etc.
If you are outside the local area, you must submit a request to us for estimated shipping costs. Follow the steps where indicated in the product sheet. An estimate will be sent to you within 48 to 72 working hours via the attached email: caritas.arts@gmail.com
Please note that public holidays, weekends, national holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year are not counted in the 21 working day period.
FOR ALL CANVAS DELIVERIES
A tracking number will be sent to you by email to allow you to follow the progress of your package.
For some local deliveries, the tracking number may not be applicable. In these situations, Caritas arts will guarantee delivery itself.
Packages are delivered Monday to Friday according to opening hours.
A signature on delivery is required. If you are not at home, a paper will be delivered to your door so that you can collect the package within an additional 7 days.
COLLECTION IN STORE
Caritas arts offers you the opportunity to collect the work(s) in store. When you select this option, you will be contacted by Caritas arts within 24 to 48 business hours to schedule recovery. After purchase, an average time of 2 to 4 days is expected to prepare the order.
It is possible that Caritas arts may not be able to contact you for reasons beyond our control (incorrect customer contact details, power outage, etc.). After 48 working hours after ordering, if you have not heard anything, please contact us.
